Houston students prepare for weekend zones, wrestling a dummy to perfect their throws in safety.

Old Timers hockey players fought hard in their weekend tournament Feb. 8 to 10.

HSS senior boys hosted a basketball playday last Saturday, playing teams from Houston, Hazelton, Smithers, Fraser Lake and Terrace.

HSS won the junior girls basketball tournament against Smithers and Hazelton, played in Houston Feb. 2.

HSS student Jamie Beck is on the first ever B.C. U18 women's sevens provincial rugby team and competes in Las Vegas Feb. 7-10.

Houston hosted a minor hockey tournament Feb. 2 and 3, with teams from Burns Lake, Vanderhoof, Fraser Lake, Smithers and Hazelton.

Luckies lost 4-3 to Smithers Steelheads in their first playoff game Jan. 26, and games Feb. 2 and 3 determine who continues in playoffs.

Luckies are in the playoffs with their first game against Smithers on Jan. 26 at the Houston Claude Perish Memorial Arena.
