Looking at the seemingly insurmountable statistics showing the numbers of people diagnosed with cancer each year — 173,800 in 2010, excluding non-melanoma skin cancers — how can one person make a difference?

Prices not that bad

Editor: I’m writing in reference to BC Hydro’s announced rate increases which could be as much as 50% over the next few years. I suspect many people in Houston are probably cringing at the thought of paying more for electricity.
