Forty-five students from Houston Secondary School went down to Rugbyfest in Kamloops last weekend. The group of students grades 8 to 12, made up two fifteens rugby teams: a 24-student boys team and 21-student girls team. The students went down to Kamloops in a packed bus with baggage loaded in two vehicles. Along with two parents and three teachers, the group filled 14 hotel rooms, said Rugby Coach and HSS Principal Scott Jackson.The sevens girls team will hardly unpack before they load up and head out again. The girls are off to Vancouver this weekend for rugby sevens provincials, April 27 and 28.
