On Jan. 20, 21, and 22 at the Houston Claude Parish Memorial Arena, a home tournament for midgets hockey was held. The Houston Flyers, Smithers Storm, Terrace Kermode, and Prince Rupert Seawolves competed vehemently all weekend. The Houston Flyers placed second after loosing to the Terrace Kermode in the final game 4 to 1.
