Ten members of the Houston Figure Skating Club recently attended the Cariboo North Central Regional competition. The girls competed in events ranging from StarSkate level 2 up to Gold Interpretive. Results were: Paige McEwen won the Star2 bronze ribbon and 9th pre-intro interpretive. Ryleigh Harmatti won Star2 bonze ribbon and 4th pre-intro interpretive. Hanna Ells won Star2 bronze ribbon and 10th pre-intro interpretive. Savannah Sommerfeld won Star3 bronze ribbon and 10th intro interpretive. Maggie Kenzle won Star4 2nd and 8th bronze interpretive. Miranda Rodway won Star4 6th and 2nd silver duet. McKenzie Chudyk got Star5 7th, 17th bronze interpretive and 1st silver duet. Jessica Ells earned 11th Sr. Bronze Freeskate, 10th Silver interpretive and 2nd silver duet. Katie Ball won 5th Sr. Bronze Freeskate, 5th Silver Interpretive and 1st silver duet. Delainey Larocque won 10th Gold Interpretive.
The Houston Figure Skating Club’s annual year-end carnival will be on March 14 at 7 p.m. and March 15 at 2 p.m.
