On Jan. 14 and 15 in Fort St. James, five teams including Vanderhoof, Fraker Lake, Fort St. James, Burns Lake, andHouston competed in an atoms hockey tournament. In the semi final game the Houston Flyers versed the Fraser LakeHawks in a shout out after five minutes of sudden death overtime and won 7 to 6. Then the Houston Flyers played against the Burns Lake Bruins in the finals and won 7 to 2. The Houston Flyers players and coaches were ecstatic to return home with the title of first place winners.
