The first of her bloodline born in Canada, Ann Marie has been a writer since her first international vacation with her family to the Philippines, where she documented her experience and submitted the journal as an assignment to her Grade 3 teacher. Ann Marie started working for Houston Today in 2016 and since has begun a passion in reporting to the fellow residents of her hometown on what is happening in the community.
