Black Press has recently become a sponsor of the BC Seniors Games.

Advertisements in the Houston Today and other local papers about the Seniors Games were read and appreciated by many local seniors.

Our Zone 11, which covers the area from Kitwanga to Vanderhoof and Ft. St. James, feels that it is important that the local papers are recognized and supported by those of us that feel this is a valuable benefit to our seniors.

The Seniors Games contribute significantly to senior’s health and enjoyment and keeps many seniors active and engaged.

We are always looking for more people 55 and over to take part in the Seniors Games both at the local level and at the competition that takes place each summer at various locations throughout the province.

This year they are in the West Kootenay August 16-20th.

Thank you Black Press for supporting the Seniors Games.
