The family of Tom (Big Bird) Guest is sad to announce that our big teddy bear passed away at home surrounded by family on the date of March 7th.
Tom was the loving husband of Teresa Willams and the devoted father of Shawn Williams (Lynne), Byron Williams, and Terri-Lynn Guest. His grandchildren (Shawn) Tristan, Shawna, Nathanial, and (Byron) Shawntah and great grandbaby Hazel will always remember the strong but gentle man who loved them with all his heart.
Tom was a long standing member of the Houston Volunteer Fire Department and was devoted to service to the community. Tom will be sorely missed by Canfor Houston where he spent 41 years as an electrician with no equal. Tom was an avid motorcyclist and the sight of him on his bright orange bike (which he picked to match the bright red hair of his one true love) was a sign of spring in Houston as perennial as the blooming of flowers.
Tom's family would like to thank the firemen, police, and ambulance attendants that have helped them through this difficult time. Thank you also to the Canfor Family.
Tom requested no service. The family and community mourn his loss together.
