We celebrate the life of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Tena Alida Seinen, who left the embrace of our loving arms to be with Jesus, her saviour.
Tena was born in Andijk, Holland on January 28, 1928 and raised her six children in Terrace, BC and Edmonton, AB.
She invested her life in people - whether family, her church or her community - sharing her wisdom and offering a listening ear. Tena’s rock solid faith in Jesus defined her life. She died of pulmonary fibrosis on Tuesday, April 29, 2008.
Tena is survived by Albert Seinen, her husband of 55 years, and her children: Gary and Carolyn Kolkman, Bill and Marian Seinen, Jim and Alice Seinen, Frank and Josi Vandenbrink, Joe and Nelly Strong and Ken and Linda Seinen, 24 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
