In Loving Memory ~
Glenn was born August 10, 1973, in Grand Falls, NL. He moved to BC in 1979 with his parents Gord and Lorraine, brother Blair and sister Sharon. Glenn grew up in Houston and graduated in 1992. He met Dorothy and they moved up north in 2001. They welcomed their first son Stephen in 2002, and their second son Kelly in 2004. The family returned to Houston in 2009.
Glenn loved the outdoors. Whether he was motorbiking, quading, snowmobiling, or riding horses he was happiest with his friends and being outside. That continued into his adult life and expanded to include hunting, fishing, and camping.
He loved his work as a welder and millwright, which gave him the opportunity to work in many places and meet a lot of people, creating many good friends along the way.
Glenn was diagnosed with Lung cancer in Dec 2020. He took that news in true "Glenn" fashion and beat the odds as long as he could. His positive outlook and determination gave him much longer than any doctors expected. Glenn continued to work and took on challenges at his job with great strength until he was no longer physically able to. He also continued to go fishing, camping, and working on his boat.
Glenn passed away, quietly in his home, on May 29th, 2022.
A Celebration of Glenn's life will be held on June 25th between 2:00 and 5:00 pm, in the Pleasant Valley Legion, Branch 249, in Houston, BC.
