Sharon Rose-Marie Wood, nee Andersen died on September 28, 2023 in Kamloops, British Columbia after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 20, 1944 in Drumheller, Alberta to Marvin M. Andersen and Dorris E. Andersen nee Soulis. She was one of eighteen children.
Sharon is predeceased by her daughter Illana T. Evans nee Brooks, both parents and nine siblings.
She is survived by two daughters, Tania (Ron) Dixon, son Raine; Athena (Tim) Sieben, sons Logan (Cindy), Morgen and Chazz, as well as a large extended family.
Sharon had a strong love of flowers, books and rock picking with anyone willing to indulge her. She was a loved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and a dear friend to many. Her love of her hobbies was surpassed by her love for her grandchildren.
