April 6, 2020
It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Ronald Gordon Pederson announce his passing on April 6, 2020 at the age of 61 years in Houston, B.C.
Loving father of his Son, Gord P., Daughter Veronica H. and Step-Daughter Shar D. Forever remembered by Girlfriend , Shari H. Brother of Patience C. and Paul P. Further survived by his Niece, Megan T. He was predeceased by his parents Vivian and Palmer Pederson.
He took extreme pride in his grandson, Daxten for whom he had already filled a tool box for.
He was fond of saying a phrase he coined "I am not hard to get along with but.. " when he was speaking his truth.
The way he died is just like he lived: he wrote his own rules, he fought authority and he paved his own way. And if you said he couldn't do it, he would make sure he could.
As much as people knew hanging out with him would end in a night in jail or a killer whiskey hangover, he was the type of man that people would drive 12 hours at the drop of a dime to come argue with.
Ron will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a stubborn Norwegian, humorist, fisherman, and the best machine operator in North America. Crown Royal and cheap coffee companies are devastated by the loss of Ron.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held when it is safe to do so. Please contact the family for more information.
