Ronald David Dinelle of Houston, B.C. passed away peacefully in his son's home in Prince George on Monday October 19, 2015, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Ron was born on September 25 1951 in Smithers, BC. He lived in Prince George from 1973-1979, where he began working for Finning and transferred to Houston, where he lived for 36 years with his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 39 years, Doreen.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was a regular at the rink watching his boys play hockey.

He is survived by his wife Doreen, his three sons Derek (Shawna), grand daughter Kaelynn, step grand kids Ryland & Adisyn; Blair (Shelley), step grand kids Ashtyn, Rylan, & Taylor; and son Patrick; his parents Phil and Jeanine Dinelle, sisters Sharon & Carol; brothers Larry, Mark, & Roger; & his pug of 11 years, Mr Magoo. Ron was predeceased by their daughter Andrea and brother Brian Dinelle.

Friends and family were invited to celebrate the life of a truly unique man who has touched the lives of so many others with his open heart and good nature on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Houston Community Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross in Ron's memory.
