Morice Henry Bellicini passed away in Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace on June 27, 2008 with his wife at his side. Morice was born in Houston at his family’s farm located at the end of Mountainview Drive. Morice went to school in Houston and later worked at several jobs in the area with Bill Merkley and his father E.G., including working on the pack train to Sibola.

In 1943 he joined the Canadian Armed Forces and was discharged on March 22, 1946. Morice wed Dorothy on August 16, 1954. Immediately following the wedding Dorothy and her daughter Mary Jean moved into the house he built for them on 10th street in Houston where Dorothy and Morice resided together until his passing on June 27th.

Morice enjoyed camping and fishing in the Houston area, spending many weekends at local lakes. Much of this time was spent with family and friends at Morice, Babine and Poplar Lakes.

Morice is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, daughter Mary Jean (Wes), grandsons Bob (Tracey), Rick (Denise), Tim (Jodi) and great granddaughters Miranda and Vanessa Moll, sister Gloria Merkley and various nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by parents E.G. and Rosina Bellicini and sister Yolanda McQuatt.
