Lucy Rose Seymour (Longpre) passed away January 18, 2009 at the age of 68 at Jackman Manor Nursing Home in Aldergrove BC. Predeceased by her husband Virgil (Tex) Longpre and her sister Sarah Layton. Survived by her children Gerald, Marjory. Marie and Dorothy. Grandchildren Christine, Michella, Dustin and Levi. Her sisters Irene Joseph of Prince George and Elsie Tiljoe of Houston. Lucy was born in Houston, her mother passed away shortly after and was raised by her grandmother Christine (Gramma) Holland. Lucy suffered a stroke in December 1996 that left her partially paralyzed and unable to speak and has lived in a nursing home since then.
