Julie passed away suddenly and peacefully in the Smithers hospital on May 10, 2010. She suffered a stroke and kidney failure. Julie was born on March 16, 1947 in Wells, B.C. to the parents of Aylmer and Irene Champoux.
Julie was a very kind, unselfish and loving person. She lived for and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Unfortunately Julie had longed to be with her husband Marcel since he passed away on October 9, 2007. Even though we know Julie and Marcel are together again, she is greatly missed by all.
Julie is survived by her daughter and her husband, Sherrie and Lars Svensson; her son and his wife David and Kristy Gagne; her son Keith Gagne; her son and his wife Stephen and Marla Gagne; seven grandchildren, Taryn, Daniel, Linden, Isabelle, Matalyn, Brody and Jesse; four brothers, Robert, Bernard, Leonard, Harold and their families. She is further survived by many more relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support and generosity during their time of sorrow. The service was held in Houston at St Anthony’s Catholic Church on May 15, 2010.
