It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John C. Davis.
John was born in Meadow Lake, Sask. and moved to Oliver in 1943 where he started a long career in Sawmills.
When the Oliver Mill closed in 1967 he ventured north where he began working with Northwood Mills. In 1972 he came to Houston as Mill Manager until 1978.
He finished up his career in Williams Lake with West Fraser Mills in 1986. He then retired back to Oliver in 1988 where he remained until his passing.
John is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, daughters Lillian (Don) Shippit, Pam Blacklock, Kathleen (Gerald) MacDonald and Donna (Kirby) Balfour. Also 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.
