In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother Jean McKenzie.
Predeceased by her husband Don in 1976, she was left to raise a teenage son and a young daughter on her own.
Mom, stubborn and independent by nature, was well known in the Houston community for her hard work, community spirit, and great fun if costumes were called for!
She will be greatly missed by her children Pat, Jerry (Tracey), Dianne, Kevin (Tracy) and Leann (Warren). Missing her too, will be her 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Sincere thanks to the staff at the Bulkley Lodge in Smithers and to Dr. Steel. Thanks too, to her friends MaryRose, Moe, and Bob.
A Celebration of Life for Jean will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Houston Legion.
