March 24, 1947 - December 1, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald David Swift formerly of Granisle. Born in Armstrong B.C on March 24,1947. Gerald passed peacefully in Prince George on December 1st, 2021.
Gerald was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was also a dedicated and valued community member, volunteering countless hours of his time. He coached Minor Hockey and Mine Rescue.
He was a member of the GVFD for over 40 years and served with the BC Ambulance and was a member of the Lions Club. He never missed an opportunity to help in any way he could.
Predeceased by his mother, father, and sister, Gerald leaves behind his loving family; wife Dianne, son Scott (Jen), daughter Leah (Craig), grandchildren Madelaine (Christian), and Sarah, brothers Lloyd (Lenore) and Don (Carol) and many more family members and friends.
He will be dearly missed.
