In loving memory ~
It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the death of Fredrick William Horning. On the afternoon of February 3rd, 2024, surrounded by family, Fred passed away after a long battle with COPD. Fred was born on February 11th, 1945, in Burns Lake, BC. He was predeceased by his father Earl Raymond Horning, his mother Anna Isabelle Gair, and siblings Doug, Howard, Isla, Keith, Russell, and David. His other brothers Raymond and Alfred are still living, along with his foster sister Debbie. Fred was the father of 8 children: August, Barbara, Stanley, Bonnie, Angelina, Natasha, Monica, and Tara-Lee. He was a grandfather to 11 children and a great-grandfather to several. There will be an open-invite Celebration of Life held in Mackenzie, BC, at 1:00pm, on March 9th. Location will be the Royal Canadian Legion, at 357 Skeena Drive.
