It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mama.
Diane Pearl Morrison passed away peacefully on August 30, 2023, with loved ones by her side.
Predeceased by her loving parents Frank and Grace DeFrane, brother Greg DeFrane. Diane is survived by her husband Ian of 56 years. Daughters Debbie (Ron) and Sandra (Gary), sister Michelle (Glen). Her greatest pride and joys: grandchildren Jordan, Matthew (Kameron), Noah and Madison. Fur babies Frankie, Jessie, Benny, Lucy and Elliot.
Diane was born and raised in Ladysmith on April 3, 1949. She stayed at home to raise her family which she took great joy in. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren who absolutely adored her. Mama's greatest gift was caring for people. She volunteered at Ladysmith Family and Friends for 11 years and nurtured everyone who walked through the door whether it be by food, a smile or a hug.
She was Mama to everyone. Her smile, kindness, sense of humour and big heart will be greatly missed.
