With heavy hearts we say good-bye to our beloved father, life partner, brother, and true friend, Dale Lavallie.
One of his greatest accomplishments were his children. He loved watching his children play a variety of sports. Another passion Dale enjoyed was being at the gym. His dedication to health and fitness for both himself, his children and others was unsurpassed.
He enjoyed being outdoors and hiking with his life partner; Rita and her mother, Dorothy. He was also very open to new experiences and adventures. One of his last trips was to go to Cuba with his partner Rita and many friends.
Dale was raised to be a just, fair, non-judgmental, kind, honorable and gentle man. His unconditional love was felt by many that came to know him.
Upon meeting him, you were taken in immediately by his heartfelt smile that made you feel good. He was an unforgettable person. His belly laugh is a sound that we will always remember, and his wisdom will always carry on.
He was pre-deceased by his parents; Evelyn and Fred Lavallie and his brother-in-law Albert Demers and he will be dearly missed by his children; Blair Lavallie (Courtney Lavallie), Caitlin Lavallie (Tyson Faulk); his life partner; Rita Beerens and her mother Dorothy; his step children; his sisters; Sandra Lavallie (Kim Dowling), Connie Demers, Val Lavallie (Deb Smith), Aldea Lavallie; his nieces; Corey Demers (Will Brydon), Natasha Brienen (Shane Brienen), his nephews; Myles Demers, Joshua Larson (Allison Larson), his great grand-nephews; Gabriel, Dallas and Damon Brienen, his grand-nieces; Bailey Brydon-Demers and Sarah Brienen, his children's mother; Sandy Bowler and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
