Pursuant to section 26(3) of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that the District of Houston intends to lease the building located at 3400 11th Street on the land legally described as Lot 2, District Lot 622, Plan EPP106996 to the Provincial Government of British Columbia for a term commencing on March 1, 2024 and expiring on March 1, 2029, with an option to renew for another 5 years:
In consideration of $6,513.75 per month, the lease will grant the lessee the sole right of access to the building for each year of the lease.
Council will be giving final consideration to the lease at the Regular Meeting on March 5th, 2024 at 6:30pm in Council Chambers, 3367 12th Street Houston BC. There will be an opportunity for comment on the land disposition at the start of the meeting during the Public Input Opportunity.
