Pursuant to section 26(3) of the Community Charter,
notice is hereby given that the District of Houston intends to lease the
Community Hall located on the land legally described as Lot 7, District Lot 619,
Plan 1347 to the Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre for a term
commencing on November 8, 2023 and expiring on May 31, 2025:
In consideration of $1.00 per year, the lease will grant the lessee the sole right of access to
Room 102 in the Community Hall for each year of the lease.
Council will be giving final consideration to the lease at the
Regular Meeting on November 7, 2023 at 6:30pm
in Council Chambers, 3367 12th Street Houston BC.
There will be an opportunity for comment on the land disposition at the
start of the meeting during the Public Input Opportunity.
