Undetermined cause in fires

In the story “Fire at Houston Estates Drive” published in the Houston Today Feb. 22 issue, a shed fire occurred damaging equipment and a couple of bikes around 5 p.m. In December 2016 Houston Today also reported the shocking fire of the Nadina Truck Service building.

On Feb. 1 Houston Today contacted the Houston Fire Department for an update about the cause of both fires and received the following response.

“The cause for both locations is undetermined to the extent of the damage it is not possible to find a definite cause of either fires,” reported Jim Daigneault, Fire Chief of the Houston Volunteer Fire Department.
