Several large rocks on the road are slowing traffic near Gitsegukla on Highway 16 according to Drive BC.

The incident is being called a “geotechnical investigation” and has caused single-lane alternating traffic two kilometres west of Gitsegukla.

Northwest B.C. has experienced heavy rain over the last 24 hours.
