Residents have been inquiring about the new display light located inside the Houston mall on the outside wall of the former Supervalu.
“I don’t know of any new light,” commented the Houston mall’s maintenance manager.
However frequent visitors of the mall claim that it wasn’t there before.
In the story “Grocery store and Nadina fire update” published in the Houston Today Feb. 1, 2017 issue, Houston’s mayor,Shane Brienen, said that there is no new information to report regarding a new grocery store coming to town.
The Houston council has been working diligently to bring in a new grocery stories since the closure of Supervalu in June 2016,and had hoped that by the new year of 2017 there would be one to replace it.
Brienen says that if not this week, next week someone should be in contact with Houston Today with an update.
