Canfor and several of their contractors are sponsoring a new scoreboard for the Houston arena.
Canfor and contractors will pay $15,000 for the new scoreboard, and will have exclusive advertising rights above the board for five years after that.
Director of Leisure Services Ryan Coltura said the existing scoreboard and controller are outdated and need frequent repair.
After five years, Canfor and contractors will be able to renew the $15,000 five-year contract, or others will be offered the contract.
