Regional elementary schools participated in a district wide cross country run on Oct. 10 at Riverside Park in Smithers.
And Houston Christian School young athletes were entered into the competition.
There were six categories of girls in Grades 7 and 8, Grades 9 and 10 and Grades 11 and 12 and of boys in Grades 7 and 8, Grades 9 and 10 and Grades 11 and 12.
In the boys Grade 11 and 12 category, Jaden Onuora from the Houston Christian School finished second.
