The Claude Parish Memorial arena is getting updates done; as well as new work on the roof. Gerald Pinchbeck, Chief Administrative Officer for the District Of Houston said, “We are replacing the roof surface over the Arena Lobby, as it has been leaking during thaw/freshet and causing water damage to the interior of the building. The roofing at the arena will cost $22,000. We also will be replacing the roof surface at the Municipal Office this weekend, at a cost of $67,101.(Shiela Pepping photo)
