The Houston Public Library has a display near their front entrance of the Canadian book titles that will be featured and debated by Canadian celebrities on a CBC program called Canada Reads. Described as the "Literary Survivor" the concept of the show was inspired from a popular program called One Book One Community. The Houston Public Library has up to date equipment, resources and programming which is available to the Houston residents to be discovered.
