One person is in custody and is awaiting a bail hearing as Houston RCMP continue to investigate an assault which took place at a local apartment building on Jan. 2.
In a Jan. 3 release, RCMP Corporal Madonna Saunderson said officers found one person who she described as having “significant injuries”.
The person was taken by ambulance to hospital for urgent treatment.
“The investigation is active and support units are assisting the Houston RCMP as they continue to gather evidence,” Saunderson said.
Reports from the building at the corner of Hagman and Pearson describe the use of crime scene tape to mark off areas of interest for investigators.
