Houston Christmas parade lights up community spirit

Christmas festivities continued in Houston with the fourth annual Holiday Lights Light Up Parade on Dec. 6. Based on the number of participants and spectators, the parade is rapidly becoming a community tradition.

Based on the number of participants and spectators, the parade is rapidly becoming a community tradition.

The parade this year lasted one hour and more than 20 vehicles took part in a display of colourful lights winding their way through the community.

Participating groups included the Houston RCMP detachment, the Houston Volunteer Fire Department and the provincial ambulance service.

The event was organized by the Houston and District Chamber of Commerce.
