On the evening of May 10 at the Houston Christian school 26 students from Grades 11 and 12 displayed their C.A.P. stone projects. (Top right) Grade 12 student Jonan Farmer had his forging equipment set up along with the tools he uses, some of his finished work and his Opa who inspired him to adopt the craft as a hobby. (Right) Grade 11 student Jayden Hansma has built from scratch a pine double bed frame with his Grandpa supervising. Jayden spent over $200.00 and 30 hours of labour on his C.A.P. Stone project and the results are most impressive. (Left) Haley Waldie a Grade 12 student did her project on photography. It has been a passion of her’s since 2018. She has purchased all her own equipment and edits her own photos. Definitely some beautiful and eye catching imagery. (Angelique Houlihan photo/Houston Today)
