Plaid and Christmas light up fun for community in Houston

Local businesses in Houston showed off their best plaid for Plaid Friday on Nov. 24, 2017. If you took a selfie wearing your plaid and a same-day receipt from any store in town, you could win $100 in Houston Merchant Gift Certificates. Plaid Friday is the new Black Friday as an enjoyable alternative to support local businesses. Also the annual Christmas Light Up was held at 7:00 pm at Steelhead Park while all of Houston enjoyed late night shopping.
