Highland dancers perform at the community garden Canada 150 celebration in Houston on June 8, 2017. Tree Canada submitted grants and trees to 150 communities for Canada’s 150 birthday which the Houston Link to Learning was a recipient of an utilized it in the community garden located across the tracks in Houston. The highland dancers were invited to the celebration to perform and entertain during the day of the event where other activities and food were being shared and enjoyed.
