Ever since I moved to the B.C. in late July, whenever I get asked how I’m liking the change, my answer is always the same; I love it. Lately though the usual sarcastic rebuttal I get from people around town is: Just wait until winter comes.

We’re right around the corner from the most wonderful time of the year for sports. Gone are the dog days of summer, when all there is to watch is the dog days of the MLB season, or maybe some football training camps. October is without a doubt the best time a year for sports lovers like myself, with all four major leagues running at the same time, there’s definitely something for everyone.

For those of you who don’t know, I’m a huge movie nerd. Coming from a family of actors, my obsession started when I was young.

A record-breaking 24 medals are comming home

Last week proved to be a scary reminder of the 2018 wildfires for several residents in the area. For those, like me, who had not witnessed the 2018 wildfires, last week was a small insight into the devastation that the wildfire caused two years back. Terrifying photos and videos emerging from Lytton, added to the feelings of dread.
