Preparing for a harsh winter

Ever since I moved to the B.C. in late July, whenever I get asked how I’m liking the change, my answer is always the same; I love it. Lately though the usual sarcastic rebuttal I get from people around town is: Just wait until winter comes.

October is without a doubt the best time a year for sports lovers like myself, with all four major leagues running at the same time, there’s definitely something for everyone.

Last week proved to be a scary reminder of the 2018 wildfires for several residents in the area. For those, like me, who had not witnessed the 2018 wildfires, last week was a small insight into the devastation that the wildfire caused two years back. Terrifying photos and videos emerging from Lytton, added to the feelings of dread.
