Schools, Houston Link to Learning, and Strongstart ran two government funded Ready, Set, Learn pre-school programs in Houston, one at HCS and one at Twain Sullivan (in partnership with Silverthorne). The events are to help children get familiar with schools and get to know some of the educators and staff. HCS had 15 children fill their classroom for the program, and Twain Sullivan had just over 30 children participate.
