In its eighth and final year, the Indra and Friends benefit concert hit a fundraising record.
This year's event raised $2,300 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada, bringing the grand total of funds raised through the eight Indra and Friends concerts to $15,000 for seven different BC charities.
"It's been my dream to reach the $15,000 mark," said organizer Indra Egan, "and now, the overwhelming support from Houston and the neighbouring communities has made this possible."
