Houston summer students’ last barbecue

Summer students Rebecca Ells (L) and Dustyn Standbridge (M) recently enjoyed their last barbecue/work bee event of the season at the Houston Community Garden. Ells will be returning to the University of Saskatchewan to study kinesiology while Standbridge will be attending the College of New Caledonia in Prince George to study sports psychology. The harvest festival, which will take place on Sept. 23, will mark the end of the gardening season. The summer students are seen here with Mia McGonigal, community garden program assistant.
