Houston fire department donates to Houston Minor Hockey

On Dec. 7, 2017 in front of the Claude Parish Memorial arena and Houston Leisure Facility, The Houston Volunteer Fire Department donated $8190 to the Houston Minor Hockey Association. The money will be used to purchase dividers for Cross Ice Program from Hockey Canada and B.C. Hockey, which will break the ice into three sections and will allow younger hockey players from four to eight years to skate the width of the rink instead of the full length, making it easier and enhance the hockey program to better the skills of the young athletes.
