On March 8 women of all ages celebrated Houston’s seventh annual International Women’s Day at the Houston Senior Centre. Hosted by Debi Smith, the event opened with a delicious buffet and a silent auction, a presentation by local fire fighters, and a guest speaker (Barbara Kotze) to talk about the importance of taking care of your health and knowing your family history.
