Earth Day rocks Houston library

Twenty three young artists prepared a colourful salute to Earth Day at the Houston library on Thursday.

Green frogs, purple caterpillars and a bright red ladybug had a field day in the Houston library on Thursday.

Those creatures were painted onto garden rocks by 23 young Houston artists as a colourful way get ready for Earth Day on April 22.

Since 1990, Earth Day celebrations have grown to include 170 countries and nearly all school children in Canada.
