School-based ceremonies begin at 7 p.m. with teacher Ed Kronemeyer acting as the host and master of ceremonies for the evening.

He’ll be introducing speakers and will guide the presentation of scholarships.

This year’s valedictorian is Ari-Marie Neault.

The theme this year is Psalm 27:14: “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say, on the LORD.”

And a long-standing tradition will continue with grads presenting Bibles to incoming students.

Afterward, grads will be treated to a pizza party and outdoor activities.

This past weekend the grads hosted a barbecue for immediate family, grandparents, special persons and school staff at the riverside residence of Kim Van Barneveld who is the grandparent of twin grads.

A sundae bar was a dessert feature and a variety of outdoor games were on offer.

Previous to these activities, grads enjoyed a trip to Edmonton.
