The Houston Flyers played a round robin tournament in Burns Lake to determine who would win the playoff banner for the Omenica league. All 5 Omenica teams were in attendance. Game 1 was VS Fort St James and a hard fought battle saw us losing the game 7-6. Game 2 we played Vanderhoof and this time we came out on the winning side of another close match by a 8-7 score. Sunday morning we played undefeated league champions Burns Lake A and lost 8-0. We were the only team to keep powerhouse Burns Lake from hitting the double digits on the scoreboard. The final game was a matchup against Burns Lake B. We scored 19 seconds in and never looked back as we cruised to a 7-3 win. Burns Lake A won the banner and we finished in a tie with Fort St James for 2nd place overall.
