In Loving Memory of Robert (Bob) Roland Clee

Bob was born to Carrie and Gordon Clee in Flin Flon, Manitoba in 1941. He was the youngest of three children.

Bob moved with his family to Chemainus on Vancouver Island when he was a young child. Bob graduated from Ladysmith Junior Senior High. He was a very busy teenager and was involved in many sports including basketball, swimming, and Judo.

Bob moved to Prince Rupert in 1965 to be closer with family. In 1966, at a Community Hall dance in Houston, he met the love of his life, Patricia Goold. He and Pat were married on July 20, 1968 and they moved to Prince Rupert to start their new life together.

Bob tried his hand at many careers. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force when he was 18, and then on to Bank Clerk, Tin Smith, Welding, and then found his passion and pursued his career in the financial sector. Bob spent many years working at the Prince Rupert Fisherman's Co-Op. He was very proud of the years he spent in Prince Rupert. In 1976, Bob and Pat became the proud parents of Todd. They were over the moon to have that precious little boy in their lives.

Bob was a strong community volunteer. Over the years, Bob volunteered countless hours in many organizations in Prince Rupert and Houston. Until recently, Bob was involved in the Houston Housing Society, Bulkley Valley Heritage Museum Society, Bulkley Valley Economic Development, Houston and District Economic Development and Dungate Community Forests. He was passionate about helping others and wanted to see Houston grow.

Bob loved his family dearly. Bob and Pat hosted many family dinners and events.

They loved to cook and entertain. Bob was a dedicated, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and brother-in-law.

He will be greatly missed by all.
