On July 9, 2017 in the afternoon at 1:37 p.m. the Houston Volunteer Fire Department was called to attend to the scene of a small fire on the CN train tracks by the highway overpass occurred in Houston.
“There was a very small fire in some wood chips along the train tracks by the highway overpass,” said Jim Daigneault, Fire Chief for the Houston Volunteer Fire Department. “There was no damage. It could have been from a spark from when a train passed by, just a best guess.”
