Pemberton Music Festival cancelled

In the past, the music festival located in Pemberton drew large crowds last year of 180,000 fans

This year’s Pemberton Music Festival has been cancelled.

That’s according to reports from Global and CKNW Thursday afternoon, that say Ernst & Young has been appointed as trustees in what appears to be a bankruptcy claim.

The music festival which was set for the weekend ofJuly 13 – 19 in Pemberton offers the option to camp on site and drew large crowds last year of up to 180,000 fans over the four day event.

Headliners in the past have included Snoop Dogg, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar and Pearl Jam.

As of 4 p.m., there are no announcements on the Pemberton Music Festival website about ticket cancellations. Tickets are also still available for purchase.
