The Houston community garden had their first bi-weekly barbecue of the year as a thank you to the Houston community for the support. The barbecue was at the main garden site on July 4, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. There were 25 adults and 25 kids in attendance that enjoyed some food directly from the garden, and the company of other registrants that tend to the garden beds.
